1:00 - 4:00 pm  | Christmas Holiday Market

The Newberry Downtown Development Association will offer a Christmas Holiday Market at 1107 Harrington Street.

• More information available at NewberryDowntown.com.

• Holiday Market will also operate on Nov. 22 from 1:00 - 4:00 before the Newberry Christmas Parade.

4:00 pm  | Christmas Crafts and Cookie Decorating

Beginning at 4pm:

• The Newberry Arts Center will offer free crafts at 1200 Main Street until 6pm.

• Thrivent Financial will offer free Cookie Decorating at 1108 Harrington Street until 6pm. 

Main Street Lights Begins at 5:00 pm:

5:00 pm  |  Festivities Begin in the Square

• Newberry Brass Quintet NB5 performs until 5:45pm in front of the Community Christmas Tree

• Trackless Train Rides begin on Main St

• Snow Globe Photo Booth begins at the corner of Boyce St and McKibben St

• Balloon Artists begin in Memorial Park

• Sigmon Theatrical's Toy Soldier Performers Start Roaming the Event Area

• Santa Clause inside Newberry Opera House for photos

• Food and Snack Vendors:

  • Wingz, Thingz & More (Variety of Foods)

  • Goodies By Design (Hot Chocolate, Sweets)

  • The Sugar Mamas (Cotton Candy)

  • Genesis Hub (Coffee and Specialty Drinks)

​6:00 pm  |  Tree Lighting Ceremony

Enjoy music from the Mid Carolina Middle School and Newberry Academy choirs, a special message from the Mayor and others, and the traditional countdown to light up the town! Event festivities mentioned above continue until 8:00 pm. The ASL Club (America Sign Language) from Newberry College will be providing sign language interpretation for the ceremony portion of the event.

6:15 pm  |  Snow in Memorial Park

Following the Tree Lighting until 8pm:

• Snow machines begin in Memorial Park

• Trackless Train, Snow Globe Photo Booth, Balloon Artists, Toy Soldier Performers and Snack Vendors continue until 8:00 pm

6:45 pm  |  A Surprise You Won’t Want to Miss

Join us at 6:45 in Memorial Park near Boyce Street for the reveal of an exciting new addition to this year’s event —you’ll want to be there for the debut of this new experience.

7:30 pm  |  Newberry Opera House Hosts Duo Beaux Arts
